George Jones' Funeral Service Will Be Open To The Public - RTTNews - RTT News

A public funeral will be held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville for country legend George Jones, who died late last week at the age of 81.

"George would have wanted his fans and friends to be able to come and pay their respects along with his family," publicist Kirt Webster said in announcing the decision Sunday. Jones had been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1956.

In the same release, Jones' widow, Nancy, said, "Thanks to George's friends, fans, and loved ones for the outpouring of love at this terrible time. I love you all."

A private visitation for family, friends and fellow performers will take place Wednesday evening.

Instead of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to either the Grand Ole Opry Trust Fund or the Country Music Hall of Fame, to which Jones was inducted in 1992.

Still, you can hear some of the ambitions Eidos Montreal had for making the Wii U GamePad a natural extension of cyborg hero Adam Jensen. Wii U owners: you might want to check out this video just to see how the developer has adapted the game to Nintendo's console, specifically their desire to make the GamePad Jensen's neuro hub--the interface between the "Deus Ex" hero, his augmentations, and the external world. Using the touchscreen, players can hack terminals and machines, toss back thrown grenades, and engage in "augmented sniping" (whatever that means). The "Director's Cut" will also feature enhanced graphics, refined boss battles that will not just favor the combat-minded, and new level layouts. "Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut...
